Collection: Sans frontières

This collection is about identity, memory, and movement. It started as a personal journey using fashion to understand what it means to be part of the African diaspora. Through making, I explore the tension of being from two places at once and how that can feel both grounding and disorienting.

Sans Frontières reflects that in-between space. I played with the structure of Western garments and merged it with the elegance and presence of Nigerian traditional wear. One piece features layered, fused denim shaped to echo the silhouette of woven trousers back home. Another uses striped handwoven fabric that feels both familiar and reimagined.

These looks are for people who carry their culture with them, wherever they are for those who are constantly navigating their roots and the spaces they move through. I’ve designed them to spark recognition, conversation, and pride whether you’re home, abroad, or somewhere in between.
